Natal d'Ouro, a big animation program of Oporto city, it had as high point the Santa Claus parade. It pretends that will be the bigger of the world, to go to the Guiness World Records.
The Santa Claus had carried a bag with presents it had been delivered in the end to be distributed by solidarity institutions of Oporto. And for each Santa Claus registration, it was given 1 euro for one of those institutions.
At some moments of the passage, it was launched artificial snow, and listened Christmas Music. For the way, in 5 stages in different places, small shows like dancing and music was elapsed.

Finally comes to Oporto the biggest Europe Christmas Tree!!
It was inaugurated this Saturday (day 17) the Biggest Europe Christmas Tree, with 40 thousand people to assist in Avenida dos Aliados, in Oporto. The ceremony was with a music show and fireworks, to fix the start of Christmas time in city.
The tree will shine until 6 January 2008, between 18h and 01h, Monday to Friday, and between 18h and 02h on Saturdays and Sundays. And we could see it 24 hours on-line.
To illuminate this Christmas monument was installed 2 thousand and 400 micro lamps, 13.000 little balls lamp, 28.000 meters of luminous mango-tree, 500 meters of neon and 600 strobe, reveal the organization. The Biggest Europe Christmas Tree have a own dynamic, with a mission to interact with the Community, proportionate Culture and promoting some shares of Solidarity.
In days 22 and 31 of December, next to the Tree of Christmas, they will go to still elapse the Christmas Concerts and End of Year, fulling with more magic the Av. dos Aliados.
Oporto is the third city where this Christmas Tree, that is the biggest of the Europe, is mounted, after having passed for Warsaw and Lisbon.

On a cold night of autumn, the Antas area was dressed with the formal evening dress to assist the birth of baby, so anxious and wanted.
I could say that emotions stage is one of the most beautiful stadiums of the World.
Today, Pinto da Costa received from APCER Portuguese Certificate Association the diplomas of certification recognized internationally, of Quality Management System and Environmental Management System. The Dragon Stadium is the only stadium of FCPorto certificated in Portugal, and the only five stars certificated in the world.

The Portist Emotions Stage is, since today, the date of its fourth anniversary, the first stadium of five stars of the World with the certificates of Quality and Environment, titles issued by Miranda Coelho, APCER's president, it does the amphitheatre blue and white an only copy in the planetary level.

O Corpo Humano como nunca o viu (Titulo em Portugues)
"BODIES...The Exhibition" is a controversial exhibition showcasing preserved human bodies dissected to display bodily systems. It opened in Tampa, Florida on August 20, 2005.Passed by several countries including Portugal until October 24th, in Lisbon. It is sorry that only has been there. If it had been for Oporto, I would like to see that in live.
Organized by the American doctor Roy Glover, this work has as objective to reveal the work of the human body and catch the attention of the public in general for the recovery of health, since that presents considered healthy bodies next to others maltreated by cigarette, alcohol or bad food. That bodies are real it passed through a treatment process known as polymerization which gave them the appearance and texture of plastic and they were donated by their own.
The museum is set up so that one starts at the skeletal system, and more layers (muscular, nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive systems; as well as fetal development and the treated body) are added in successive rooms.
The body in the most raw prospect: healthy or sick. An exhibition that promises to change the habits and ways of looking at life: We have cases where people stop smoking when they see what cigarettes do in the lungs, and then they with time, they stopped smoking. The people make decisions to change the life style after visiting the exhibition. People don't realize the reality of what they can do to their bodies. Nobody can take care of us better than ourselves, if it does not take more care with the body, the quality of life begins to decline. So when people come and see the effects of smoking, an inappropriate diet, fortunately they learn and realize that they can change and when they take such decisions, the body will be healthy and they will be much happier ", explains Roy Glover, Doctor of the Scientific Committee International.
